Yoga Teachers Together is a new registration organisation for Yoga Teachers and Teacher Training Schools. We are an independent organisation set up by a team of Yoga Elders and Teacher Trainers. We are here to provide you with a real alternative for Yoga Teacher Registration and Teacher Training School Registration.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to renew every year?

Yes, you have to renew your membership every year. However, it may be possible to set up an auto-renewal. This is something we are currently exploring.
Can I register if I'm not based in the UK?

Yes, we accept registrations from members all over the world.
Can I register if I didn't train in the UK?

Yes, we accept registrations from graduates of overseas training schools as long as they fulfil our minimum qualification requirements.
Do you have minimum qualification requirements?

Our minimum qualification requirements are as follows:

a) To register as a YTT Yoga Teacher you need to be able to prove that you have received a minimum of 200 hours of training.
b) To register as a YTT Yoga Elder you need to have taught a minimum of 5000 hours of yoga over a minimum of 10 years.
c) To register as a YTT Yoga School you need to have first registered as a YTT Yoga Elder and have a 200-1000 hour course already designed. 75% of these hours need to be contact hours. You will need to provide us with the following documents:
i. Course plan for contact & non-contact hours.
ii. Your course prospectus.
iii. Your teaching and learning agreement.
iv. A description of your complaints procedure.
v. A description of how your assessment procedures ensure your trainees’ future teaching is based on their own practice, ahimsa, satya & svadhyaya.
vi. Example course certificate.
vii. Your listing for the YTT website (200-500 words).

Can I register an online Teacher Training Course?

Yes, as long as the contact hours are interactive live online and these make up at least 75% of the total course hours.
Can I register a hybrid or blended course?

Yes, as long as the contact hours are in person, or interactive live online and these makeup at least 75% of the total course hours.
